The Peppercorn Artists Group (the Members) was established in 2004 by a group of local artists to re-open the Peppercorn Gallery in Richmond as a co-operatively run outlet for their work. The aim of the group was to maintain and uphold the long-standing reputation of the gallery as an outlet for fine art and craftwork, but with a Tasmanian emphasis.

The work of the Peppercorn Artists Group displayed in the gallery is supplemented and diversified
by a range of work by other quality Tasmanian craft artists.

Visitors to the gallery continually remark on the high quality of the work on display,
the reasonableness of pricing and the ambience of the historic space.
